Our next subscription box is jam-packed with creative, earth-friendly activities designed to connect your little ones with the natural world. This month's box celebrates the arrival of Autumn with our Harvest Moon theme. We can't wait to create with you!

Perfect for kids aged 3+, here’s what you’ll find inside:

1. Build a wētā house 🦗

Your little one will love building their own wētā house! This hands-on activity is great for hammering and building skills and will get the whole family learning about these incredible, prehistoric creatures. Using FSC-certified NZ pine, they’ll create a cozy hideaway for wētās while learning how we can support them by providing homes in our gardens. Once it’s set up, you can open the little door to see if anyone has moved in!

2. Make a Harvest Moon lantern 🌕🍁

Let’s celebrate the change of seasons by making a pressed flower lantern to hang outside during these long evenings. Learn about the Harvest Moon and create your own celebration of the seasons by collecting your own flowers and leaves.

3. Follow your Adventure Card to hunt out the signs of autumn 🍂

This activity is all about slowing down and observing the arrival of autumn with a scavenger hunt! Head outside and see what’s changing—golden leaves, seed pods, berries, blooms, and more.

4. Create your own nature loom 🌿

Let’s get creative with a nature loom! Using sticks and twine, you’ll make a simple weaving frame, perfect for threading in leaves, flowers, and other seasonal finds. It’s a beautiful way to slow down, notice the little details in nature, and get into your creative zone. We’ve included lots of ideas in our tutorials to help you get started!

5. Plant seasonal seeds 🌱

Learn how to plant, grow, and nurture seeds to grow your own food and flowers at home—no big garden needed! We’ve teamed up with Grow Yours to provide home-compostable seed packets and all the info you need to get growing together.
