We're excited to bring Nature Club events and workshops to connect in real life! Based in Cambridge, we're starting with some very cool and creative School Holiday Sessions.

Nature Play + Clay
Wednesday 16th April, 2025
Location: Creation Station – Fencourt Hall, next to Goodwood School.
529 Fencourt Road, Cambridge.
$68 per child. Each ticket covers one child + 1 adult for one session.
Suitable for 5+ years. If you have two children attending the craft sessions, please book two tickets. Limited places available.
Join us these school holidays for creative nature-based activities and pottery fun!
Led by Samara, The Pied Potter, and Lizzy from Nature Club, each two-hour session offers a hands-on experience designed to spark imagination and connect children with nature. You will get to work together to complete one clay and one nature-craft per session with both Samara and Lizzy on hand to support!
Enjoy a range of crafts using clay and nature-based materials that you will be able to display at home or gift.
Plan for the day:
Session 1:
9 am - 11am: Beeswax candles + Ceramic candle holder
Session 2:
11:30 am - 1:30 pm: Build your own bug hotel + Clay leaf bowls
Session 3:
2:00 pm - 4:00 pm: Pressed flower lanterns + Textured pottery wallflowers
Parent area:
Parents, we encourage you to join your child for a shared creative experience! You can work side by side and get creative yourself.
If your child is confident to craft independently, you can catch up on work or relax in our cosy parent corner. There is also a playground on site you can explore with any younger children. Please note, parents must remain onsite during classes.
Please bring a drink bottle and snack/lunchbox if needed. Food will not be provided at the session.

9am - 11 am: Beeswax candles + Ceramic candle holder
Roll and decorate beautiful beeswax candles, then sculpt your own unique ceramic candlestick holders from real clay. All materials will be provided so you can roll a few candles each and decorate them with natural coloured beeswax using a range of cutters, shapes and techniques. You'll have the perfect little set to burn your own candles at home in a ceramic candle-holder made by you!
Nature-based creations will be ready to take home the same day. Pottery pieces will be professionally fired, glazed, and ready for collection in approximately three weeks.

11:30 am - 1:30 pm: Build your own bug hotel + Clay leaf bowls
In this session you will build and decorate your very own wooden bug hotel to take home and hang in your garden. Perfect for attracting pollinators or displaying as garden artwork!
You'll also press and roll leaves into clay to shape charming little ceramic bowls. Think Sage leaves, Nasturtium, Rosemary and more. These are perfect for jewellery, treasure bowls or gifts!
Nature-based creations will be ready to take home the same day. Pottery pieces will be professionally fired, glazed, and ready for collection in approximately three weeks.
11 am - 1 pm on Wednesday 16th April. $68 for child + adult.
2:00pm - 4:00 pm: Pressed flower lanterns + Textured pottery wallflowers
Make delicate glass lanterns decorated with pressed flowers. You will also roll your own little beeswax tea-light candle to go inside your lantern. Hang this somewhere at home to enjoy the warm glow as we welcome Autumn!
Craft textured ceramic wallflowers using nature-inspired tools. These are one-of-a-kind pieces of art that are perfect for little hands to express their creativity. Hang them up at home or give as a treasured gift.
